The Recloose New International Festival was a 2 day event at The Ambulance Station, Old Kent Road, London.

Attrition, Het Zweet, Club Moral, and Royal Family & The Poor all played on the night that I attened and were all fantasic.

Het Zweet were mighty once the P.A. kicked in properly.

Club Moral performed a seriously demented version of "Nazis Of The Night".

Royal Family & The Poor were gorgeously beautiful and moving as ever.

Attrition were good fun.

Strangely, the music between acts include "Long Hot Summer" by the Style Council 3 times which was odd given the "industrial" nature of the live music. Maybe they were just doing it to annoy me.

Thanks for the post, really appreciated.

Simon Crab of Bourbonese Qualk has a page of info about the New International Festival on his excellent blog...

And the Royal Family & The Poor tracks on this cassette do have names; they are "Visions" and "White Stains" respectively.

fine to see/hear those sounds survived. thanks to tristan and of course, to steve and simon (their engagement lives in our memories). unfortunately the 'Non Toxique Lost' (short: NTL) didn't play a fine gig at this ebvening - but we had a lot of fun over there in merry old England - well, this kind of stuff keeps us alive and active until now...
